Enfant terrible of pop, Babymorocco is here to guide us through a very special kind of psychedelic, summery Shmarmalade-induced spin.

‘Shmarmaladeharmonica‘ is the singer’s latest single, a technicolour brain-melter that feels like getting lost in a sun-soaked dream sequence with the volume turned all the way up. Built around warped synths, sticky hooks and a kind of blissed-out chaos, it taps into the same cosmic pop universe as MGMT while pushing things through Babymorocco’s own strange and wonderfully unhinged filter.

The track is taken from his upcoming mixtape The Summer Fables, out 14th August via his own PHATBOY LABEL. As Babymorocco explains: ‘Shmarmaladeharmonica is the song that opens the door to something higher. It tells the story of a mysterious juice that makes the crystals smash apart.’
