The Happy Prince

There aren’t many films we would endorse without actually seeing, but when you’re talking about The Happy Prince, with Rupert Everett playing Oscar Wilde, it’s kind of a no-brainer. Focusing on Wilde’s latter years, we’re told the film sees him lying on his deathbed in a cheap Parisian hotel, recounting his life’s story. A story that includes him being the most famous man in London, his rise and spectacular fall and his love affairs including a wife and a boyfriend.

The film is out today to download and available on DVD from Monday 15th October. We have three copies to give away.
