NEW: Tsatsamis – ‘Angelina’

Earlier this year producer/pop star Tsatsamis told Loverboy, ‘I’ve tried so many times to write a minimal song and just adding stuff. It always ends up being this huge thing.’ Our maximalist king has blessed us once more with another heartbreak opus in the shape of ‘Angelina‘ – out now.

The track is a prelude to the end of a relationship with our hero singing, ‘When you wanna talk and I wanna touch
It only ever hurts you when I want your love.’ Packed with huge synths, intricately stacked backing vocals and heartbreakingly honest lyrics, the track is the third to be taken from the upcoming Tsycophant mixtape – out 24th April.

Tsatsamis adds, ”Angelina’ is staring down the barrel of a breakup. When you love each other but it’s just not working; facing the bittersweet reality that maybe some things just aren’t meant to be. It was written in a session with Mark Ralph, the morning after a sleepless night, and finished at home with my Korg Minilogue synth.’
