NEW: PVA – ‘Boyface’

Everytime we listen to ‘Boyface‘, the trip-hop styled new single from London trio PVA, we discover something new. The production that contorts with its brooding, undulating bass and then the ethereal, softness of the chorus. The moody, Fiona Apple vibes, spoken word verse which gives way to the release of a breathy, intimate vocal. Kind of love it tbh.

PVA say, ‘Boyface is a song about desire and somatic sensuality — the beauty and fragility of fleeting connections on the dance floor. For the video, we collaborated with DOP Sal Redpath and a wonderful group of queer folk to explore touch, interaction, sensory play, and textures. The shoot became a space of care and exploration, where people could express and embody these themes freely. It was a truly beautiful day that reflected what queer and safe spaces can be — environments of healing, connection, and possibility.’

‘Boyface’ is taken from the upcoming album No More Like This – out 23rd January via It’s All For Fun (Secretly Distribution). their sophomore album is said to be ‘intimate, experimental, sensory and emotionally charged—an album that prioritises texture, sensuality, and mythic depth. It sits at the crossroads of R&B, ambient electronica, trip-hop, glitchy pop, and dark club-adjacent sounds, offering something both raw and transformative in the process.’
