Now last time we hit up Lewisham, we loved the hustle, the bustle and the downright chaos of the place. However all opinions are subjective and the beauty of that is that the very same neighbourhood has inspired London-based producer Lauren Duffus to create a gorgeously dreamy soundscape.
The track, ‘Lewisham‘, combines piano, voice and sub bass with stripped back production, offering a calmer, more tranquil moment of reflection. We think maybe we prefer Duffus’ take on Lewisham than ours.
The track has just been released and comes backed with ‘Super‘ which plays with vocals distortion and samples in the vein of Oneohtrix Point Never. Duffus creates tension and release in this atmorpheric, experimental track, offering a take on what to expect from her new EP Can’s Gone Warm – out 30th May via AMF Records’ Select Few.
