Blackwater Holylight return with a rollicking new single, “Heavy, Why?”, a taste of their forthcoming fourth album, Not Here, Not Gone, arriving 30th January. The hard rock trio deliver menacing riffs, siren-like vocals, and spine-tingling wails on new single and across the album.

Singer Sunny Faris shares, “‘Heavy, Why?’ is a lyrically light and instrumentally heavy arrangement that cryptically but intentionally speaks to the experience of being disembodied and poses the question, simply, of: ‘Why? Why is it such a hard, lonely, agonizing and heavy experience to be turned away from Self.'” Meanwhile, drummer Eliese Dorsay reflects on the album’s shifting energy: “Some songs we’re the predator, and some songs we’re the prey.”
