London’s cult pop provocsteur, Babymorocco, is hard-launching his new era with next single, ‘Annoying‘ – out now. The track confesses his desperate need to please over a some big, bouncy production recalling Junior Senior or Justice’s ‘D.A.N.C.E’.
Written and produced with New York song-writer, Jack Laboz, ‘Annoying’ was actually created in the very studio where Andy Warhol was shot. ‘We made it quickly and intensely; it came from such a desperate place that I felt sick. Jack instinctively knew to punch in those keys and start capturing every sad thing I would do for someone I was obsessed with,’ adds Babymorocco.
Playing festival dates across the U.S. this summer, Babymorocco will be returning to the UK for London’s Body Movements on 30th August. The 360 artist also known as Jean Paul will also be making his acting debut for real in the A24-produced C4 comedy series It Gets Worse, coming later this year.
