8485 is a new one for us but on latest single, ‘G.I.R.L.‘ she is giving us ice cold, femme fatale, Hyper-pop energy. Think Peaches, Uffie and Ladytron…if they took MDMA. The track is under three minutes but it packs a punch with it’s brash and brat energy – as well as a fierce rap from the Danny Brown. Perhaps on paper the collaboration would seem unexpected, but the enigmatic pop-provocateur and alt-rap iconoclast share the same spirit of sonic mischief and disregard for traditional genre tropes.
