Alison Goldfrapp returns with new album Flux – out 15th August

After making seven wonderful albums as the duo Goldfrapp, the visionary Alison Goldfrapp ventured out alone and in 2023 released the sexy, slinky, electro pop odyssey The Love Invention.

Today she announces the follow up, Flux, set for release on 15th August via her own recently launched record label A.G. Records. With this news Alison also releases ‘Find Xanadu‘ the first single taken from the project. Releasing it just four days after Giorgio Moroder’s birthday feels a happy coincidence as both share a penchant for that epically synthy, intergalactic space disco and ‘Find Xanadu’ is a bright, sparkling example of that. The track is produced by Alison, Stefan Storm and the legend that is Richard X.

To begin this bold new era, Alison will be touring with Scissor Sisters on their 20th anniversary tour across the UK next month. See here for full list of dates.

Of starting her own label and releasing this new record, Alison says: ‘If you’re lucky enough to have the option, owning your own masters feels like a no-brainer these days.  While being a solo independent artist comes with its own set of challenges, it truly suits me and has given myself and the people I work with a sense of empowerment and invigoration for this album’

Flux is out 15th August.
