flowerovlove has just dropped the video for ‘American Wedding,’ a fun new visual companion to the track that originally landed back in April. This time around, she’s not just in front of the camera—she’s also behind it, directing the video herself.

The MV leans into her signature colourful, playful aesthetic, feeling like a dreamy hangout with friends, featuring cameos from her real-life circle, including WILLOW.

The track itself takes inspiration from Frank Ocean’s ‘American Wedding.’ She explains, ‘I just love the concept of that song, and I feel like it was a banging title, so I wrote a whole story about that from the title.’ But flowerovlove flips it into something lighter and more youthful, keeping the emotional undertones but wrapping them in bright, breezy pop energy. It’s introspective, but never heavy.
