Smashing through the velvet rope with a modern day take on Hole’s ‘Celebrity Skin’ is the extrmemely enjoyable although equally dark ‘Cult of Celebrity‘ from Brighton’s own Lambrini Girls.

‘Cult of Celebrity’ is a relentless, thrashing indictment of the dark underbelly and backdoor dealings of the world’s global elites that has been exposed in recent years, in other words a certified banger with a message.

On the new track the band say: “The age old tale, of selling your soul to the devil has been fabled accounts of high society for years. However due to recent events come to light- it turns out that the elite are very much actually, the devil incarnate, baby eating, pedos. What a fucking surprise! They had no souls to sell in the first place.”

When Loverboy spoke with Phoebe and Lily last year they told us, ‘People might tell you to do things differently. I say fuck ‘em.’ With this new single the duo are continuing to forge their own path and do things their own way.
