British producer, Shy One, just dropped the massive ‘I Can Tell‘ giving us Detroit Techno but fresh out of London. The track, featuring the smooth vocals of fellow-Londoner George Riley, is the lead single from her upcoming album, Mali, out 12th March.

‘I Can Tell’ is a huge tune, with rollicking big beats and showcasing Shy One’s unique take on the whole spectrum of her influences, from Grime and Hip Hop to Jazz and House. Mali will be released via Touching Bass and features other collaborations with Steve Spacek and Private Joy across the ten tracks.

On Mali you hear Shy One’s commitment to exploring and illuminating the rich history and lineage of Black British electronic music, whilst adding her own experimental flair and production prowess to this sonic story-telling. An experimental recipe of house, techno, broken beat, dub and rap, she lands on a sound that can truly be defined as hers.
