London-based trio PVA return with ‘Send‘, a new single that pushes further into the darker edges of their sound. Anchored by a thick, rubbery bassline that nods to the raw bite of the electro-clash era, the track pairs spoken vocals with clipped electronics and a slow-burn sense of pressure.
‘Send’ finds the band refining their creative identity: warped samples rub up against live, physical rhythms, while Ella Harris’ voice slips between intimate confession and steely assertion. The result is a track that feels controlled but unsettled, balancing restraint with moments of release.
The single is the third to be taken from PVA’s forthcoming album No More Like This, due for release early next year. Alongside the release, the London-based trio have announced a series of live shows and spoken-word in-store appearances across the UK this February, before taking the project across Europe.
