Norwegian singer/songwriter Anna Of The North comes bearing two songs from her upcoming, as-yet-untitled album.

‘Give Me Your Love Back‘ was the first release back in August. The super-cute video instantly grabbed our attention as Anna has her own squad of male dancers surrounded her down the street. Casual. ‘It’s been a long time since I made a music video,’ she said, ‘and I knew I wanted to make it fun and quirky . I also wanted to be surrounded by pretty people to make my ex jealous. Haha.’ The track is produced by Starsmith (Kylie, Lily Allen) and is a nice, warm, embrace of a pop song which sees poor Anna…lamenting the demise of another relationship. Oops.

Fortunately for us Anna’s misery continues with the fun, alt-indie pop of ‘Waiting For Love‘ which sees her sing the line, ‘I was waiting for love, but now it’s not there.’ Anna explains, ‘Waiting for love has been in my demo folder for way too long. It’s been my favourite little indie-pop-song for a while, so I’m excited to share it with the world. It’s about that one time someone came into my life lovebombed me, and left as quick as they entered. Like 1 day ago I didn’t know who you were and now my life is broken.’
