Grammy-nominated producer and DJ, Jayda G just dropped ‘The Shiver‘ the perfect addition for your poolside playlist this summer.

The track is about the first frisson of meeting someone you’re into. “The song is based on me and my husband Darrell and when I first met him, and how our lives came together after years apart.” Jayda adds: “I want people to feel light and happy and to have fun whilst listening to the song. It’s infused with the upbeat lightness and happiness that I want to embody now after having a child. There’s lots of great things in life to be excited about and I want to put my energy and music into that aspect of life.”

For us the track transports us back to the most joyous of sunrises at Jayda’s Primavera Sound 2023 appearance. A set that was so full of disco, gospel, house and love, we’re still talking about it now, two years later.
