Friday saw Alison Goldfrapp release ‘Sound & Light‘ the third single from her upcoming album, Flux. Maybe it’s the confidence of having her first solo debut album under her belt – but whatever Alison Goldfrapp is channelling this era, we need to get our hands on some. She is coming in hotter than ever with all these singles, there’s harder club energy, something feels more fearless than The Love Invention and we’re living for it.

‘Sound & Light’ is another huge single and a statement about exploring new ground. The first song to be written for Flux, it’s hard not to feel that flush of energy as she sings, ‘Sound & Light, tonight, surround me. All I want is for love to find me.’ Alison says that the track is about ‘the excitement of an open vista and wanting to embrace a new feeling of emotional freedom’.
