Some people we know (…definitely not us) have tattoos of Liza Minelli lyrics and Mariah Carey mid-song, while others choose to go down a more macho, aggressive, punk route with guns, stags and words like ‘HARDCORE.’ Each to their own. Both work for us. Here’s Víctor Galván.
We love our tattoos but after having a few, we kinda wish we could go back and change our first one. Do you feel the same?
I love all my tattoos, my first one was a bear paw on my back. I got it on my first trip to Europe. It doesn’t have a special meaning but I don’t want to change it because it was the first.
What was your first modeling shoot?
Hmmm let me see…In 2007 I was reading the news and I saw that the famous photographer Spencer Tunick was going to take a massive naked photo in Mexico City. It was my first time being shot naked with thousands of other people. I don’t have any problems with being naked, it makes me feel free. I’ve participated in a World Naked Bike Ride many times and was in a No Pants Subway Ride.
What’s been your favorite photo so far?
Each photo shoot has something special, they are very different. Each photographer has their own perspective. I think my favorite was with Óscar Morales, I love his eye – always capturing beautiful things. I was very happy when he asked me to pose for him.
You have a tattoo that says ‘Hardcore.’ What does that refer to?
Hardcore refers to me being very intense and extreme in my life. On my arm I have a mantra, ‘Om mani padme hum.’ This helps me achieve perfection from generosity to wisdom, my husband has the same tattoo, we got it together.
What do you look for in a man?
I look for a funny man that makes me laugh a lot. I prefer a hairy man – very very hairy. I love that and preferably a beefy guy. I also like veins. It looks very sexy, I love an arm with pumping veins from a work out. I think it represents a kind of authority or power. It also looks like the veins in a cock!!! Lol.
Yeah, we love a vein too. Now, we don’t really believe in musical guilty pleasures but if you had to have one what would it be?
‘Mi Delirio’, a Mexican pop song by Anahi. I love the rhythm, it’s my guilty pleasure because it’s a pop song for teenagers. Lol.
What was your favourite cartoon as kid?
I think my favorite was “Remi”, each episode was very tragic, it was like a soap opera for kids.
When did you last have sex?
This weekend with my husband. We have been together eight years and married for four of them.
What is your favorite piece of underwear?
Briefs and jockstraps. They make you look very sexy and hot, I hate long underwear.
Who is your favorite football player?
Actually I don’t watch a lot of football games. I liked the Super Bowl and in the last one my favorite player was Julian Edelman. He’s an excellent player and a sexy bearded man! Love him!!
What is your favorite Mariah Carey track?
You gonna want to kill me, but I don’t like Mariah Carey… please don’t hate me!!
